Day 1 of your 4 days Uganda mountaineering safari to Mount Elgon National Park

As early as 7:00am your drive to Mount Elgon National park will start with a pick up by your professional safari guide from your hotel, place of residence or airport. You will embark on the drive to Mount Elgon National park with a stop at Mabira forest for a nature walk 60km from Kampala. You will have dinner and an overnight stay at your preferred accommodation in Mount Elgon National park within Sipi falls area.

After an early morning breakfast, your driver takes you for a Sipi falls hike. The Sipi falls is a combination of 3 falls surrounded with a beautiful greenery back drop. The hike involves a visit to the community plantations and cave exploration. After the hike you return to your hotel for dinner and an overnight.

Your driver guide will pick you up from your hotel and transfer to the hike start point in either Kapkwai or Sasa trail according to your preference. The hike takes a full day with picnic lunch and return to your hotel for dinner and an overnight stay in Mbale.
