After breakfast the next day, you go for a white-water rafting experience then transfer to Kapchorwa the next day and hike to Sipi falls that evening. From Kapchorwa you transfer to Moroto town. A day is spent in Moroto then after transfer to Kidepo the next day. You spend a full day game drive in Kidepo Valley then be transferred to Gulu town the next morning. From there, you then continue to Murchison Falls National Park Uganda for a game drive, boat cruise and hike to the top of the falls from where you are driven back to Entebbe international airport with a stop at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary.

Day 1 of the 10 Days Mount Elgon Hiking tour & wildlife safari Uganda

Very early in the morning, you will meet our Uganda tour driver guide, pick you up and drive past Mabira forest and beautiful plantations, your guide briefs you about the tour Uganda in general. Arrive at the white-water raft start point on the Nile river by 8am in the morning. You will have practical training before you get into the Nile river for white water rafting lasting about 5 hours. You go rafting alongside professional rafters and kayakers with snacks provided during the activity. After white water rafting, you have lunch and then be driven to your lodging facility where you spend the night.

After an early breakfast from your hotel, your driver guide will get you there for a drive to the far eastern Uganda. Arriving in the evening in Kapchorwa, you check in, relax and spend the night at an accommodation in Mount Elgon National Park Uganda that was prior booked. You can take a coffee tour in the evening to the community with a local guide who takes you through the process in which coffee is produced locally.

After breakfast, you take time in the beautiful countryside to visit the foot hills of Mount Elgon to Sipi Falls filled with a beautiful backdrop. On a full day hike, you are able to visit all the three Sipi falls to this beautiful flower filled paradise, birds, waterfalls and streams. Anticipate to spend a day in this beautiful haven with picturesque waterfalls and caves. Here you will take several memorable pictures then after return to your lodging facility in the evening.

After breakfast your driver guide will start the drive for a wildlife safari in Uganda’s Kidepo Valley National Park. Driving to the heart of the golden Kidepo valley going past the dotted Pian Upe wildife reserve and Bokora wildlife reserve. You have lunch en route as you go past scenic places of Napak and several bird species. You proceed to Moroto which is the biggest town in the region where you spend the night.

Early morning after breakfast, you embark on a drive to the “untouched” Kidepo Valley National Park. This is most referred to as the best wilderness in Africa and the best safari destination or national park in Uganda. Past some of the most beautiful landscapes, you will arrive to this less crowded safari park of Uganda where you will have the chance to have an interaction and learn what makes this place a great destination. You check in, have dinner and spend a night at an accommodation in Kidepo valley National Park.

Following breakfast, you are driven by your Uganda safari driver guide to Kidepo valley park for a whole day game viewing experience. Taking the Kakine circuit, you get the chance to glimpse at the Kuddu, an antelope, the elusive cheetah and many more species of the wild. Later on, after a meal you are driven to the Kanangarok hot spring point where you have chance to have a clear view of the whole park till sunset as several species roam within the grassy plains.

This morning after breakfast you pack your bags and bid farewell to Kidepo valley national park. The drive takes you to Gulu town in Northern Uganda taking an en route game drive arriving in the afternoon for lunch and relaxation at a booked accommodation.

Waking up in the warm side of the country, you have relaxed breakfast then embark on the drive to Murchison Falls National Park. The drive takes you to a booked accommodation in Murchison falls national park where you spend the night.

Day 9 of the 10 Days Mount Elgon Hiking tour & wildlife safari Uganda

A morning game drive at Murchison Falls park starts your day from 7:00am within the vast savannah plains of the park. The elephants, lions, leopards and buffaloes alongside many more wild species are possible sightings of the morning. The game drive within wildlife natural habitat lasts 2-4 hours then after return to your lodge for lunch or have packed lunch.

In the afternoon at 2:00pm, you go for a boat cruise/launch trip to the bottom of the awe-inspiring Murchison falls where you look out for numerous schools of hippos, crocodiles and water birds at the bottom of the falls. At the boat set off point you have chance to experience the traditional music and dance from the local people of this community. The boat cruise to the bottom of the falls offers a start point for the hike to the top of the magnificent Murchison falls that takes about 40mins to 1hour. You find your driver guide waiting for you at the top of the falls for a drive back to your lodging facility.

From Murchison Falls National Park Uganda you are driven to the adjacent Budongo Forest about 106km away on a 2 hours’ drive. You do chimpanzee trekking in the afternoon as you search for man’s closest relatives being one of the most popular safari activities in the country and Budongo Forest being the best destination in the world for chimpanzee photography. You sight the chimpanzees chunk fruit and curiously play around for about 2 hours and leaving one of the best Uganda wildlife tour activities. You spend the night at an accommodation facility within Masindi town.

In the morning, you have breakfast then after be driven to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for rhino tracking on foot. After about 1 hours’ drive, you arrive at the park where you track Rhinos for about 2 hours then continue with the drive to Entebbe International Airport.
